Scanner Hire
We understand that accessing specialist equipment for short-term projects can sometimes be difficult. Purchasing high-end survey equipment is not always practical, particularly when it may only be required for specific tasks or limited periods.

At Wren 3D we use a range of professional LiDAR and spatial mapping equipment in our own projects. When equipment is not in active use, we make it available for hire to organisations who need reliable tools for high-quality data capture.

Our Trimble X7 terrestrial laser scanner is available for short-term hire and provides a fast and efficient way to capture accurate 3D spatial data for buildings, structures and landscapes.
​
Equipment can be hired for daily, three-day or weekly periods and is supplied with the accessories required for field use. Operator support or guidance can also be arranged where required.
Note: Trimble RealWorks software is not included with equipment hire, as licences are issued through individual Trimble IDs and cannot be shared. Hirers should therefore have suitable software available for scan registration and point cloud processing.

Trimble X7 Scanner Hire
The Trimble X7 is a professional terrestrial laser scanner designed for fast and accurate 3D data capture. It is well suited to surveying, heritage recording, environmental mapping and construction documentation.

The scanner is supplied with the equipment required for field operation, including tripod, batteries, charger, controller or tablet, and transport case.

Flexible Hire Options
We offer flexible hire periods to suit different types of projects, from short site visits to longer survey campaigns.

Typical hire options include daily, three-day and weekly hire, with longer hire periods available where required.​

Optional Operator Support
If required, the scanner can be supplied with an experienced operator. This option is useful for organisations that require LiDAR data capture but do not have previous scanning experience.

Delivery and Collection
​
Equipment can be collected free of charge from Wren 3D at M-SParc, Ynys Môn (Anglesey).
​
Delivery within approximately 50 miles can be arranged free of charge where scheduling allows.
Delivery between 50 and 100 miles can be arranged at cost.
​
For locations beyond 100 miles, the hirer will be responsible for arranging and covering the cost of courier transport or collection.
The hirer must ensure appropriate insurance and secure transport arrangements when using third-party couriers.
