Scanner Hire
We understand that access to specialist equipment for short-term projects is not always straightforward. Purchasing high-end survey equipment is not always practical, particularly when it may only be needed for specific tasks or limited hire periods.

At Wren 3D, we use a range of professional LiDAR and spatial mapping equipment within our own project work. When equipment is not in active use, it is made available for hire to organisations that require reliable tools for high-quality data capture.

Our Trimble X7 terrestrial laser scanner is available for short-term hire and provides a fast, efficient and accurate solution for capturing 3D spatial data across buildings, structures and landscapes.
​
Hire options are available for daily, three-day, five-day and seven-day periods, with longer-term and project-based hire available on request. Equipment is supplied with the accessories required for field use, and operator support or guidance can also be arranged where needed.
Please note that Trimble RealWorks software is not included with equipment hire, as licences are linked to individual Trimble IDs and cannot be shared. Hirers should therefore have suitable software available for scan registration and point cloud processing.

Trimble X7 Scanner Hire
The Trimble X7 is a professional terrestrial laser scanner designed for fast, accurate 3D data capture. It is well suited to surveying, heritage recording, environmental mapping and construction documentation.

The scanner is supplied with the equipment required for field operation, including tripod, batteries, charger, controller or tablet, and transport case.

Flexible Hire Options
We offer flexible hire periods to suit a range of project types, from short site visits to longer survey campaigns.

Hire options include daily, three-day, five-day and seven-day periods, with longer-term and project-based hire available on request.

Optional Operator Support
If required, the scanner can be supplied with an experienced operator. This option is suitable for organisations that require LiDAR data capture but do not have in-house scanning experience or additional capacity.

Basic guidance on scanner setup and operation can be provided to help ensure reliable data capture and an efficient field workflow.

Delivery and Collection
​
Collection is available free of charge from Wren 3D at M-SParc, Ynys Môn (Anglesey).
Free delivery and collection is available for hires of 3 days or more, subject to location and availability.
​
For shorter hire periods, delivery and collection can be arranged via courier at cost. This will be confirmed prior to hire.
​
Distances and availability are calculated from M-SParc, Ynys Môn (Anglesey).
