Founded in 2025 in the heart of North Wales, Wren 3D is a small business with a big vision. Our journey began with a wealth of experience and a deep-seated passion for the transformative power of 3D mapping technologies.

We specialise in high-accuracy spatial data capture and modelling, offering tailored solutions for both natural and built environments. From woodland analysis to structural surveys, we deliver clear, precise outputs that support planning, conservation, design, and documentation.

Wren 3D was founded by Dan, a specialist in LiDAR processing, 3D modelling, and environmental analysis. His previous work includes national-scale LiDAR projects with Natural Resources Wales, research into woodland structure and riparian shading, and contributions to biomass mapping programmes led by Aberystwyth University in collaboration with the European Space Agency. This experience underpins Wren 3D’s approach today, blending technical precision with adaptable, problem-solving workflows.
