Founded in North Wales in 2025, Wren 3D provides high-accuracy spatial mapping, terrestrial LiDAR, UAV photogrammetry and GIS services for environmental, heritage and landscape projects.

Wren 3D was founded by Dan Shaw following a career spanning Natural Resources Wales, Aberystwyth University and European Space Agency-supported research. This experience includes national-scale LiDAR processing, woodland structure analysis, remote sensing and the development of research-led mapping workflows.
