Some of the work featured here includes earlier projects focused on LiDAR processing for environmental applications. This includes the generation of high-resolution canopy height models (CHMs) across all of Wales using 50 cm resolution data from the National LiDAR Programme. These outputs support woodland analysis, terrain modelling, and ecological assessment by highlighting vegetation structure and elevation change.
